I’m Bianka, I recently completed my BA studies as a Japanese major. Neither English nor Japanese is my mother tongue, but I consider myself bilingual with English because I lived in Canada for a few years during my childhood.
I started actively learning Japanese at university. Working on High Speed! in the summer of 2013 was my first attempt at translating something so lengthy from Japanese to English and it was done as a literal, speedy translation. Since then, I’ve been taking more time to translate chapters and trying to find a good balance between literal and liberal translating.
